Happy Birthday Baby Grace!

Happy Birthday Baby Grace!

Two pink lines on that stick while rushing out the door to whitewater raft while vacationing in Montana – that was YOU.  Measuring in the 97th percentile for growth while in utero and scaring your mother into a scheduled c-section – that was you.  Arriving 10 days before your due date in perfect timing. 8 lbs, 13 oz, blonde hair, blue eyes staring right at us – that was you.  Leaving us all speechless, holding my breath, until I heard yours, while the doctor announced “it’s a girl” - that was YOU.  Cephlahematoma, jaundice and reflux baby, bravely visiting the hospital your first week for daily heel pricks – that was you. Changing our world from blue to pink, trucks to dolls and from full to complete – that was you.  Rolling with the punches, easy going, fun loving, adaptable YOU. Our second blessing, little sister to Davis, first daughter, first granddaughter, niece and God’s Grace to us all – that’s YOU.  Traveler to Montana, California and Louisiana, Arizona born, product of Southern parents and influenced by worldly aunts and uncles,- that’s YOU.  Grace-Grace, Gracie, Gracie-grace, Sweet girl, Ladybug - that's YOU.  Sweetest girl, cuddle loving, great sleeper, great eater, great attender to all of brother’s activities and observer of all his shenanigans, independent player, forever content baby – that’s YOU.  Lover of that pink blanket, your brother’s coveted toys, books, balls, and brother’s entertainment.  It’s YOU – our sweet Baby Grace and today you are 1!

  1. A blessing, indeed. Those eyes. I can't stop staring.

  2. What a great birthday theme! You posted to my blog asking about the fire truck birthday party I had done for my son. I don't have an online shop but I'm sure we could workout the necessary details for a template to the items I created. Please feel free to contact me at ohiostatefan606@gmail.com
