This year was our first family Thanksgiving. We decided to stay home in anticipation of our crazy Christmas travels quickly approaching. We spent the morning visiting with friends at the Williams house and came home for lunch and naps for the kids. Andrew and I prepared the meal of Turkey, oyster dressing, green beans, sweet potatoes, rolls and pecan pie. Grace even enjoyed a little sweet potatoes. We did have enough turkey to a leftover turkey gumbo too. We drank wine outside by the fire and had a wonderfully relaxing evening. It was sweet to sit at the table with our family of four. So much to be thankful for indeed!
