Lyndsay's Bridal Shower

Friends and I hosted a bridal shower for one of our nearest and dearest and bride-to-be Lyndsay. Our theme was kitchen and most appropriate as Lyndsay and Ben love to cook and entertain. It was hosted at her sister and maid of honor's home in North Scottsdale. Beautiful setting and delicious food as Stacey is a chef. We enjoyed cucumber mint margaritas and sangria while munching on tostados, shrimp ceviche, mini chicken enchiladas and gazpacho shooters. Desert was mini bunditini cakes, one of her favorites. Amazing. We had each guest bring a favorite recipe and sent them home with a mini succulent, something we knew Lyndsay would love and would survive the Arizona summer. It was a wonderful afternoon with ladies in her life, her mom, sister and mother of groom, Lynn. Because Ben is from Scottsdale, we were able to celebrate with many of their family friends. Andrew and I are lucky to both be in the wedding and celebrate with them in July.

Splash Pad Playdate

Its warming up here which means we all have plans to leave for the summer. The Fountain Hills splash pad proved the perfect setting for today's playdate. We'll miss these guys during the summer but will be back in August when everyone will be 2!

We had amazing weather for Scottsdale on Saturday and enjoyed some time at the train park. Davis is loving trains these days and has been there just a few times. He now screams "TUNNEL!" under every underpass or pass through.  It's quite hysterical as he often says "MORE TUNNEL" as we're just exiting the first. Mimi and Pops rode the train and carousel with Davis. It was quite fun and so enjoyable to be out.

In the TUNNEL!
